Coal India confirms talks with Massey Energy for stake buy

The Economic times.com confirms that Coal India is talks with Massey Engergy ( NYSE:MEE) to purchase a stake in the company.

The story is quoted as saying:

Coal India chairman said, “We are talking to Massey, but not for the whole company. Some proposal is going on with the company.” Coal India is working on various coal off-take agreements across the globe for which the company has submitted three expression of interests (EoI), Massey Energy is one of them.
