  1. Thanks for the information. I don’t know enough about it to invest in any one, or two or even three stocks. I was thinking more along the lines of an ETF specific for lithium.
I am a consulting engineer with specific experience with petroleum production, including produced water, gas-oil-water-sand production and currently engaged in literature searches to learn state-of-the-art and where my experience would be useful. My focus is treating produced water with the primary goal of recovering fresh water, clearly a high priority, with secondary emphasis on the highly-concentrated brine that will be co-produced, lithium being one, but not the only co-product.
I have learned that the industry is growing very fast with no sure-fire winners yet established.
We’ll all know more in five years!

  2. I agree EV is the wave of the future however, I don’t think the future is in the next five years. The infrastructure to support an EV revolution is not in place. Statistically, in the US 38% of electricity is generated from natural gas and 23% coal. That is 61% created from fossil fuels. Are we just moving the problem?

If you look at the world, 41% of electricity is generated by coal, 22% by natural gas and 11% is nuclear.

Where is the electric grid to support the growth of EV? You have millions of ICE vehicles in the world. People are not just going to replace them with an $85k EV.

  3. Quote about Nemaska:
“Work continues on this world-class, financially de-risked LiOH project under construction, while its spodumene con mine is fast-tracked towards production in the near-term,” Eight Capital noted.
    Unquote.
Now look at Nemaska: share price (nov 2019) AUD 0.18 … and still struggling to finance the 375 M gap. So fast-tracked?
