South African Equities: African Rainbows to Meet With NUM
Bloomberg reported the FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Index advanced 0.3 percent and miners also rose.

African Rainbow Minerals Ltd. (ARI) , a South African miner of gold and industrial metals, gained for the first time in six days, rising 2.7 percent to 184.85 rand. Management of the Modikwa platinum mine, owned by African Rainbow Minerals and Anglo American Platinum Ltd., will meet with South Africa’s National Union of Mineworkers today for talks on a strike at the operation, NUM spokesman Lesiba Seshoka said.
