Bloomberg reported that the world’s biggest diamond could fetch a ticket price estimated at $20 million at a jewelry auction being held in Switzerland in May.

Bloomberg reported that the world’s biggest diamond could fetch a ticket price estimated at $20 million at a jewelry auction being held in Switzerland in May.  The diamond, a 101.73 carat, D-color, flawless, pear-shaped stone, was cut from a rough diamond weighing 236 carats was found in the Jwaneng mine in Botswana which is jointly held by DeBeers and the government of Botswana. It took 21 months to polish.
