Prophecy Platinum Corp. (TSXV:NKL,OTCQX:PNIKF,FWB:P94P) reported that four surface holes and four underground holes on the Wellgreen PGM-Ni-Cu Project in Yukon, Canada all intercepted significant mineralized widths.
As quoted in the press release:
Highlights include WU12-540 which returned 8.9 metres of 5.36 g/t Pt+Pd+Au, 1.73% Cu, & 1.01% Ni within 304.5 metres of 0.66 g/t Pt+Pd+Au, 0.20% Cu, & 0.27% Ni.
The style and occurrence of mineralization reported here are predominantly consistent with the geological model adopted by the company for the Wellgreen deposit. Higher grade portions are noted nearer to the footwall contact that represents the paleo-basal portion of the intrusion.
Prophecy Chairman John Lee said:
Wellgreen is a very large Ni-Cui-PGM project with near-surface high grade zones. High grade intercepts will be incorporated into resource modeling and mine planning in the prefeasibility study. We expect further positive drill results from Wellgreen shortly.
