Diamond mining giant De Beers has appointed Anglo American CEO Cynthia Carroll as the chairperson of its board.
Anglo American, which has been a shareholder in De Beers since 1926, has increased its holding in the diamond firm to 85% by buying out the Oppenheimer family’s 40% stake.
