Noront Delays Release of Eagle’s Nest Deposit

Mining Weekly reported Noront Resources (TSXV:NOT) said it won’t release its Eagle’s Nest deposit study after Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF) said it will release a similar study.

As quoted in the market news:

Noront is focused on developing the high-grade Eagle’s Nest nickel/copper/platinum/palladium deposit in an area known as the ‘Ring of Fire’, an emerging multi-metals camp located in the James Bay lowlands of Ontario, Canada.

The Eagle’s Nest project has proven reserves of 5.26-million tons of ore at 2.02% nickel, 1.04% copper, 1.01 g/t of platinum, 3.45 g/t palladium and 0.19 g/t gold.
