Smartphones Waiting on the Battery World to Change

Kidela.com reports that  Smartphones use a number of rare earth elements for their various components.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

Rare earths are also used in the miniaturization of many components of the phone and in the small powerful magnets in speakers and drives, and are an integral part of the screen technology. More smartphones will mean an increased demand for a number of the rare earths such as neodymium.
