DWS, an Italy-based manufacturer of SLA 3D printers, has released XFab, its first low-cost printer.
According to 3D Printing Industry:
As promised by DWS general manager Maurizio Costabeber, it will cost €5,000 and it is going to offer some serious resin 3D printing capabilities, starting with the compatible materials available at launch, bottled in elegant 300 ml containers.
The XFab can print with 10 different high-grade materials. These include three types of resins from the Invicta range (ABS-like gray, ABS-like white, and a Polypropylene-like material), two Flexa rubber-like resins, two Vitra range materials (standard acrylic amber and transparent), as well as Precisa 779 (a rigid opaque, gray), Therma 289 green (nanoceramic for thermal resistance) and Wax-like Vesta 443.
