Metal Miner reported palladium bar prices in China and Japan jumped considerably on Aug. 24.
As quoted in the market news:
On Aug. 24, 2012, the day’s biggest mover on our global precious metals price index was Japanese palladium bar, which saw a 5.2 percent increase to JPY 1,650 ($20.99) per gram. One of the day’s biggest changes moved Chinese palladium bar ahead by 3.3 percent percent, landing at CNY 158.00 ($24.86) per gram.
