Centerra Q1 Profit Up on Strong Gold Prices

Reuters Africa reported that Centerra Gold (TSX:CG) is enjoying higher profits due to rising gold prices.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The Toronto-based Gold miner, which owns gold properties in Asia, the former Soviet Union and other emerging markets, reported a net income of $136.6 million or 58 cents a share, in the January-March quarter.
