Vekselberg’s Manganese Venture May Seek a Merger With EastOne

Bloomberg reported that United Manganese of Kalahari could be considering consolidating with EastOne.

The market news is quoted as saying:

UMK, as the company is known, “is very enthusiastic” about creating an international company that will include EastOne’s manganese assets, UMK director Vladimir Kremer said in e-mailed comments today.
