Lithium Americas Says Argentina Brine Find to Cut Costs

Reuters reported that Lithium Americas Corp’s (TSX:LAC) commercial production is possible at the Cauchari-Olaroz project in Argentina since a substantial rate of brine can be extracted from the salt lake.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Brine is needed to produce lithium carbonate and fresh water is required in the refining process.
