The publication writes that:

FCEVs use fuel cell stacks to convert hydrogen into electric power, which drives an on-board electric motor. The only by-products are water and heat.

According to Hyundai’s press release:

Since the company started developing FCEVs in 1998, it has led to the development of such vehicles, and by supplying the Tucson, we hope this will lead to greater public awareness on the benefits of such propulsion systems.
