Philippines’ Nickel Asia: H1 Sales Up 24% on China Demand

Reuters Africa reports Nickel Asia Corp’s (PSE:NIKL) nickel ore sales in the first half of 2011 rose 24 percent from a year earlier.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Nickel Asia also said its sales were boosted by a shipment of saprolite ore to the ferronickel plant in Japan of its shareholder Pacific Metals Co Ltd (Pamco) , its first in three months, as production at the facility returned to normal after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
