Base Metals Investing Bloomberg reported that according to the World Bureau of Metal Statistics, copper supply surpassed by 46,200 metric tons in 2011.

As quoted in the market news:
In November, refined copper production of 1.63 million tons was below demand of 1.73 million tons, the Ware, England-based company said today in a report.
