Hazmat Teams on Site After Radioactive Leak at Halifax Shipping Yard

CTV News reported that a container carrying a radioactive material used in uranium enrichment leaked at a shipping yard in Halifax on Thursday night. The contain fell more than 15 meters from a crane onto the deck below.

Emergency officials and a hazardous materials team were on the scene at the shipping yard after the container carrying uranium hexafluoride fell.
