Evraz Highveld Returns to Profit, But Sees Lower Q3 Earnings

Creamer Media’s Engineering News reported that Evraz Highveld (PINK:HGVLY) is anticipating lower third quarter 2011 earnings despite reporting a profit in second quarter.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The half-year profit compared with a loss of R138-million in the comparative six-month period last year. Operating profit for the six months was R53-million, compared to a loss of R255-million a year earlier.
