Small Cap Network reported on three miners that are producing vanadium for powering electric vehicles.
Small Cap Network reported on three miners that are producing vanadium for powering electric vehicles.
The market news is quoted as saying:
While the chemistry and the manufacturing process behind EV batteries is not yet set in stone, vanadium could become increasingly important should electric vehicles take off. However, the future use of vanadium in electric vehicle batteries could become a problem as its mainly mined in China, Russia and South Africa (but DNN, AVC and LGO mine vanadium in Nevada and Brazil).
