Ragnarok M: Eternal Clinches Top Spot on Google Play and Apple Store

Gravity (NASDAQCM:GRVY) announced that Ragnarok M: Eternal Love is ranked as No. 1 on Google Play in three countries based on its revenue.

The company said that the game has exceeded over 2,700,000 downloads in southeast Asia within the first six days of launch.

As quoted in the press release:

The popularity of the game is mainly attributed to the high quality contents based on Ragnarok Online modified into mobile, the cute and lovely graphics, that have responded to the Southeast Asian user needs

Liliana Bae, Director of Gravity Business and Executive Director of Gravity Interactive said that “This is very encouraging and serving a great potential that the game has significant performance in the Southeast Asian market with 650 million in population and more than 5 percent annual growth rate. The game is expected to land smoothly with greater sales than Korea and Taiwan individually at the time of its launch.”

Gravity Interactive plans to start pre-registration Ragnarok M in North and South America and Oceania during 2018 and to launch in the first quarter of 2019.
