Oculus VisionTech (OTCBB: OVTZ; TSX-V: OVT; FSE: USF1) has announced the development of Oculus’ first proprietary document viewer application for its document protection system (DPS) technology. This is a key addition to the online digital document protection suite that Oculus has been actively developing, in response to market demands for the protection of document transmittal and communication.
As quoted in the press release:

The Document Viewer incorporates technology that allows for the tracking of documents from transmission by the sender to receipt and review by the recipient. The Document Viewer also provides near real-time notification to the document sender of certain unauthorized activities, such as an attempt to view a document without permission. The Document Viewer is easy to use and is designed to serve both corporate and individual users.
The current version of the Document Viewer is for the Windows operating system and is expected to be released in the coming weeks. In addition, Oculus is continuing to develop applications for Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems.
Tom Perovic, a director of the Company, who oversees the testing and launch of the Company’s DPS technology stated: “We are extremely proud that the development of the Document Viewer has met and exceeded our internal expectations. We see this application as being an important safeguard against unauthorized users that will be relevant for our current Document Protection System, as well as future product offerings. Oculus prides itself on bringing leading edge technology to the document protection industry. The Document Viewer is one example of this commitment.”
