Aurizon Gold Restarts Operations at Casa Berardi in Wake of Fatal Accident

Mining Weekly reported that Aurizon Gold has restarted operations at its Casa Berardi mine after an accident killed a contractor.

As quoted in the market report:

The small Canadian gold miner is the target of a C$796-million takeover by Hecla Mining, which beat out a rival bid from Alamos Gold in order to gain control of the Casa Berardi mine.
