Westmoreland Acquires Wyoming-based Kemmerer Mine

Forbes reported that Westmoreland Coal (NASDAQ:WLB) will purchase the Kemmerer Mine in Wyoming.

As quoted in the market news:

The deal includes 118 million tons of coal reserves, enough for 20 years of production, as well as a skilled workforce and state-of-the-art coal preparation and loadout facilities.
