Directors Stage Mass Exodus from Bumi Resources

Bloomberg reported that 10 directors have resigned from Bumi Resources’s board as the company works towards distancing itself from Bakrie Group and PT Bumi.

As quoted in the market report:

The resignations are consistent with Bumi Plc’s goal of separating from the Bakrie Group and Bumi Resources, for which it’s seeking shareholder approval “as soon as possible,” it said today in a statement.
