Dismissal of Claims Against African Diamonds Upheld

Lucara Diamond Corp. (TSX:LUC) announced that Botswana’s Court of Appeals upheld the High Court’s previous dismissal of claims made against Lucara’s subsidiary, African Diamonds plc.

The Appeal was heard in Botswana by a panel of international judges on Jan 21, 2014 with the judgment being handed down today.

The Court of Appeals upheld the previous ruling by the Botswana High Court, dismissing the claim against African Diamonds, with costs awarded against the plaintiffs.
