Diamond sells for $23 million

The Herald Sun.com reports that Christie’s sold a diamond for $23 million, setting an Asian record.

The story is quoted as saying:

“Leading the sale was the extraordinary Perfect Pink, a rare 14.23 carat Fancy Intense Pink diamond,” the auction house reported, calling it “the most expensive jewel ever sold at auction in Asia.
