Gazprom Says Increases May Gas Exports 28 pct

Reuters reports that Gazprom (MCX:GAZP) has increased the company’s daily gas exports by 27.8 percent so far in May.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Gazprom is eyeing a “healthy” rise in 2011 gas exports to Europe, its key market, after sales edged down around 1 percent last year.
