Helen O’Malley: The Manganese Market, a New Economic Growth Barometer?

Business Insider reported an interview with manganese expert Helen O’Malley on the future of the manganese market.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Manganese ferroalloy prices have, on average, declined since May 2010. Back then, silico-manganese was priced at around $1,520/metric ton in the U.S. market. Now it is priced at around $1,370/metric ton.
