Magnis Resources Limited (ASX:MNS) announced that it has appointed Peter Tsegas to its board as a non-executive director.

Magnis Resources Limited (ASX:MNS) announced that it has appointed Peter Tsegas to its board as a non-executive director.

As quoted in the press release:

Peter has over 15 years of experience in Tanzania where he has been a resident for the past ten years. He has worked to engage both the private and government sectors on a number of projects. Of note, Peter was founder, major shareholder and Managing Director (MD) of a number of companies including Tancoal Energy Ltd. which he successfully took from an exploration company through to a JV with the Tanzanian government and then into production. Peter also has uranium experience in Tanzania with him establishing, owning and being MD of Pacific Corporation East Africa Limited. Uranium exploration was the main activity and a formed. A number of consulting roles to the Tanzanian government have been undertaken, including the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. He has also consulted to a number of mining companies including Rio Tinto.
