Southern Copper Workers in Peru to Vote on Strike

Reuters reported that Southern Copper’s workers in Peru are set to vote on Wednesday as to whether or not they will strike again.

As quoted in the market report:

Union leaders are not satisfied with what Southern Copper has offered after two weeks of negotiations over new contract terms and will discuss options with workers early next week, he said.
