New Gold 2013 Production to Rise 12 Percent

Mineweb reported that New Gold is forecasting a 12 percent hike in gold output for 2013, mostly because of an increase in production at the New Afton and Cerro San Pedro mines.

Mineweb reported that New Gold is forecasting a 12 percent hike in gold output for 2013,  mostly because of an increase in production at the  New Afton and Cerro San Pedro mines.

As quoted in the press release:

New Gold’s 2013 guidance forecasts a 12% increase in gold production growth of 440,000 to 480,000 ounces at total cash costs per ounce sold, net of by-product sales of $265 to $285 per ounce.
