Jim Gowans named new Debswana head

Mining Weekly.com reports that  Jim Gowans  has been named jointly by De Beers and the Botswana government as MD for Debswana.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

His contract at Debswana will be for a defined three-year period, and he will focus on improving operations and developing a strong management team comprised of local people.
