Banro in JV Talks with China Gold to Develop Congo

Reuters Africa reported that Banro (AMEX:BAA) is discussing a possible joint venture with China Gold (TSX:CGG) to develop property in the Congo.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The companies plan to develop Banro’s Twangiza property and a related proposed hydro power project, with the potential to extend their cooperation to its other three properties in the Twangiza-Namoya gold belt, Banro said in a statement.
