Japan plans uranium fuel imports via Siberia

The Mainichi Daily News reports uranium fuel will be imported from Russia to Japan.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is eyeing the new route to transport uranium fuel to hedge risks as damage sustained by a Japanese crude oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz in the Middle East in late July might have been caused by a terrorist attack, they said.
