Roxgold Inc. Annual General Meeting of Shareholders Moved to Sept. 25, 2012

Gold InvestingOriginally scheduled to be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012, Roxgold Inc. (TSXV:ROG) has moved its annual general meeting of shareholders to Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at a time and place to be determined. The new record date for receiving notice of and voting at the meeting will be Monday, July 30, 2012.
As quoted in the press release:
As previously announced, the board postponed the meeting in order to provide shareholders with ample opportunity to consider all of the issues in what is now a contested election, thereby allowing shareholders to protect their interests by making fully informed decisions. In the board’s business judgment, the postponement of the meeting is in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders generally.
