Copper Production Will be Affected in 2012

Reuters reported that copper production will be affected by China’s plan to shut down inefficient copper operations in 2012.

As quoted in the market news:

China is the world’s top producer and consumer of refined lead and refined copper, but is trying to push industry consolidation to curb pollution and prevent energy waste.
