Marketwatch reported that mining giant, BHP Billiton, is aiming at a copper production growth target of 10 percent a year through mid-2015.

Marketwatch reported that mining giant, BHP Billiton, is aiming at a copper production growth target of 10 percent a year through mid-2015.

As quoted in the market news:

In a slide presentation released Monday, the mining company said it was targeting significant cost savings at its base metals division in the fiscal year through June, reversing one-off costs it was hit with in the last year, and also reducing operating costs and non-essential expenditure.
