Striking Ghana Gold Fields Workers to Return to Work

Mining Weekly reported that an end to labour unrest may be in sight at Gold Field’s Ghana operations, with striking workers likely returning to work on Monday.

As quoted in the market report:

We had a comprehensive discussion with management and we have agreed that work should resume. That is likely to happen later today,” Prince Ankrah, general secretary of the Ghana Mineworkers Union, told Reuters.
