Mali Gold Miners Encouraged by Political Moves

Mining Weekly reported that efforts to restore democracy in Mali have gold producers optimistic.

As quoted in the market news:

Randgold, which sources around one-third of its production from Malian mines, said Ecowas had lifted the sanctions, and that the way the country handled the crisis highlighted the “political maturity of the West African region and its ability to settle conflict situations without external involvement”.
