With approximately 436 nuclear reactors in 30 countries around the world, the demand for uranium is stable at the moment, but an estimated 200 new plants at various stages of planning, engineering or construction could significantly disrupt supply. Currently, the existing uranium capacity is enough to supply about 55% of total demand, according to industry sources.
