Poseidon Nickel: 106-Percent Increase of Reserves at Silver Swan

According to the company Silver Swan now hosts 130,000 tonnes grading 5.2 percent nickel, for 6,800 tonnes of contained nickel.

Poseidon Nickel (ASX:POS) has announced that it has seen a 106 percent increase of the Silver Swan ore reserve following on from a previously reported increase in mineral resources for its Western Australian project.

According to the company Silver Swan now hosts 130,000 tonnes grading 5.2 percent nickel, for 6,800 tonnes of contained nickel.

The company also reported on exploration updates at its Black Swan and Windarra projects, also in Western Australia.

As highlighted in the press release:

Black Swan Exploration:

  • Large electromagnetic anomaly consistent with Massive Sulphides detected beneath Black Swan open pit and previously mined Gosling deposit
  • Drilling of the EM anomaly to commence immediately

Windarra Exploration:

  • Assays received from recent RC program at Windarra’s Crazy Diamond prospect highlights: PNRC0309 intersects 5m at 0.75 percent nickel from 12m (exsulfides) including 1m at 1.38 percent (approx. 0.8m true width)
  • Anomalous gold mineralisation up to 0.5 grams per tonne of gold
