NASDAQ reports that Kootenay Gold Inc. (CVE:KTN) shares are up $0.01 to $1.04 after the junior mining company announced a deal to form a joint venture on four of its properties with SG Spirit Gold Inc. (CVE:SG)

NASDAQ reports that Kootenay Gold Inc. (TSXV:KTN) shares are up $0.01 to $1.04 after the junior mining company announced a deal to form a joint venture on four of its properties with SG Spirit Gold Inc. (TSXV:SG)

The market news is quoted as saying:

Under terms of the agreement Spirit Gold can earn an undivided 60% interest in the properties covering 8,665 hectacres in southeastern British Columbia, including the drill-ready Chenier, Enigma and Ruby Steel locations by spending $4.5 mln through February 2015.
