Mining Weekly reported that Golden Star (AMEX:GSS) said it is looking to expand mining operations in Africa and around the globe.
As quoted in the market news:
Speaking at the Investing in African Mining Indaba, in Cape Town, exploration VP Mitchel Wasel said Golden Star, which owned two operating mines in Ghana, would start a drilling programme early this year at Amelekia, in Côte d’Ivoire, and also had a joint venture with Votorantim Metals, in Brazil.
