Gold Prices Down on Lower Euro

Reuters reported that gold prices extended losses on further concerns about European debt.

As quoted in the market news:

Spot gold was down 0.35 percent at $1,643.71 an ounce at 1130 GMT, having lost 1.5 percent in value over the previous three trading days.
