Zambian Copper Production Climbs 38 Percent in December

Base Metals Investing Platts reported that copper production in Zambia climbed by 38 percent in December, year-over-year, although annual production in 2012 registered a decline.

The country produced 89,617 mt in December compared with 64,866 mt a year earlier, the BOZ said.
