Kazakhstan’s President Pushing for Removal of Mining License Moratorium

Reuters reported that Kazakhstan’s president is encouraging his government to fast track the removal of a four-year-old moratorium on new mining licenses.

As quoted in the market report:

Kazakhstan holds uranium reserves second only to Australia’s. Five times the size of France, the country also has the world’s largest chromium reserves and substantial copper, iron ore and zinc deposits.
