Copper Surges 0.6 Percent

Bloomberg reported that copper surged 0.6 percent on hopes that China’s economy will be spurred shortly.

As quoted in the market news:

Copper futures for September delivery gained 0.6 percent to settle at $3.4315 a pound at 1:17 p.m. on the Comex in New York.
