Copper Surged to $8,760 as the Euro Strengthened

Reuters reported that copper surged to $8,760 as the Euro strengthened after Greece confirmed an emergency aid.

As quoted in the market news:

Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) ended at $8,760 a tonne from a close of $8,580 on Wednesday, having earlier hit $8,765, its highest point this year and a level not seen since mid-September.
