Copper Rises 1.3 Percent on U.S. Jobs Data

Reuters Africa reported that copper prices surged 1.3 percent as U.S. jobs data reinforced confidence.

As quoted in the market news:

Benchmark three-month copper, rose 1.3 percent to $8,463.25 a tonne by 1423 GMT, up from $8,345 at the close on Thursday, near a session high of $8,464 a tonne.
