Capstone Mining Releases 2018 Third Quarter Production Results

Combined production totalled 21,400 and 60,600 tonnes of copper in the third quarter and year-to-date periods for Capstone.

Capstone Mining (TSX:CS) has announced its production results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2018.

According to the release, combined production totalled 21,400 and 60,600 tonnes of copper in the third quarter and year-to-date periods, respectively, with additional by-products of zinc, molybdenum, lead, silver and gold.

President and CEO of Capstone, Darren Pylot said:

“Pinto Valley performed as expected in the third quarter, with planned higher grade feeding the mill as scheduled. Cozamin’s copper production was higher than projected and zinc production rose considerably. We remain on track to meet our consolidated copper production guidance from continuing operations for the year.”
